This cache offerred so many options, WP1 was fun - the logic option was utilised here. I could imagine some cachers using the shootgun approach and getting very frustrated.

GZ had me going around in circles, and mad. It wasn't until I decided to change directions and circle the other way that the treasure was spotted. So many options.

Thanks for a fun cache, and something out of the ordinary, JadedOptimists

Decided to give it one more go, and this time I spotted it within 2 minutes... *sigh* How did I miss that last time? I think the main problem is that you can really only see it from one direction, and although I went past it several times previously, every time I approached from the wrong direction. Moral of the story - if you're walking around in circles searching and can't find it, try walking in circles in the opposite direction.

Took nothing, left pathtag
Thanks JadedOptimists!

Logic prevailed at the initial waypoint which was a relief to us all.
If we thought our job was done now we were wrong, far from finished.
Considerable battle with prickles and occasional barbed wire before we netted this one.
Nice one.
Thanks

That was easy. NOT!!
More combinations. More prickles. More trouble.
Great cache. Very clever. Thanks for the fun.

After playing in the wet lands we were all excited about this next game. This time, the game was in English, so we could read the instructions. Too easy. But still a stack of fun. So many options to choose from but we got it in record time. But that's where the fun started.

We proceeded to play the second level and were eaten by prickly monsters, barbed wire and big horrible nasty looking spiders.

Dismal failure.

Almost.

We rebooted and went to the next level.

Success. No more nasty surprises, just a log book and swaps as the prize.

Clear skies and TFTC from TeamAstro. Special. [^]

We thought that SimpLifiED was pretty clever, but this one is way more interesting (and nastier), and an appropriate cache for our milestone (#2900). Got the solution out pretty quickly in spite of the 125 possible options, then oscillated towards GZ. Much easier in the end, possibly thanks to a handy phone-a-friend who happened to be close by Wink. It's a shame to see so much trampling and earthworks here, but we've seen much worse, although it's still early days for this particular cache. An excellent cache, and one more for the Pool Room. Swapped geocoins. TFTC JadedOptimists.

1. I parked carefully and legally on Ryans Rd.
2. Daylight doesn't help. I had about half an hour of fading sunlight for my return visit.
3. Where's the herd of elephants that went through here recently?
4. I hope the final is as large as the first waypoint, otherwise I'll be very disappointed...
5. Are the coordinates out by much? I've been searching a radius of about 10m around GZ
6. Now where's that ignore button?

Another cache that has had a LOT of work put into it, and again I love the ‘tool’ used to work out the coords. Let’s hope it never gets muggled.
Despite spending ages at GZ and even knowing that it had been found only hours ago by the Pink Mafia, I couldn’t locate the thing Twisted. I scrabbled around under every bush and thicket within 10m of GZ, but nothing … zip ... nyada! Oh, well, at least I didn’t get a $181 parking ticket Surprised. That was harsh!!

Yay! We finallly found it after a second trip out here! Geo J was standing there waving a stick around saying : "if it was me I would hide it over there" - and she pointed directly at the cache!

So silver to us!

Couldn't believe the change in the area since the first time i came out...

Obviously lots of people looking for this one, but a nice little bush track now looks like a bulldozer has ripped through...

Finally, bronze. Admit a big bit of help was needed. Three visits to find a clever final with a fantastic first waypoint. The kids enjoyed creating a method to find the final and come up trumps. Our first visit and thought what type of hide and no luck. The next day I returned to have a look and spent too long and got noticed by the police and still no reward. Today I returned and after another hour on my hands and knees, I thought where is this thing. Just ready to give up and thought I would just check I'm in the right place and got a reply, yes I was in the right place just looking wrong. First hide of this type for me and it is fantastic, I just never looked there when I relized how close I was over 100 times, I kicked myself. Best multi I have done this year for the effort put in. TFTC took gecko left GC. Absolutely fantastic

This cache made my day, and I'm sure I'll dine out on it for quite awhile.
I was on leave when it was published and had seen a few logs for it, so had assumed it'd be found before I had a spare lunchtime after coming back to work.
Checking again before lunch, still no found logs, so I just had to investigate it. Parked on Salisbury Highway, past the fields, on the road to avoid any pedantic policing.[8]
Soon found the contraption and my first prickle[B)] What an awesome waypoint, and I particularly liked the packaging, given some of the odd things we need to store at work. After a careful and calculated manipulation I had some numbers and set off for the cache, after returning the waypoint and covering to avoid muggle detection.
At GZ I oscillated about which path to first take in, and with all the cover the GPSr soon had me out the other side. More oscillating with the GPRs and I dived in again reaching the thickest and prickliest part. But Luck was my lady as I quickly spotted the cache and after negotiating the prickles was able to reach and retrieve the cache without any blood lossSmile With the amount of squished soursobs (no loss) were I was, I was very surprised to find I'd nabbed a virginBig Grin So perhaps some wildlife had uncovered it enough for me to spot[?]. With a large smile I filled in the log and grabbed the coin to move on, before carefully returning the cache and recovering with some of the leaf litter that was abundant on the ground. A strange little area this is - I wonder if it'll be built on oneday, or is it the "parklands" surrounding Salisbury[?]

Another epic fail for me. Can't find a regular if my life depended on it today. Having fun though time for some band aids.
5 minutes later............................
After logging this log I drove off to be pulled over by the police and fined $181 for driving on a nature strip. I stood in stunned silence as he wrote out the fine. So note to anyone do not park on the west side of the field and walk 900m's to the first waypoint or drive as a fine will be waiting for you. Don't be tempted with the 4wd.

I feel like a real criminal!!!!!!!!!

Found 1st point - LOVE the puzzle - very ingenious!

Then spent the next hour and a half donating plenty of skin samples, scratching around through some of the prickliest bushes in existence looking for the cache at GZ.

Had obviously followed someone else here early today as there was lots of disturbed ground at the 1st point and again at GZ.

Will have to try again, with more sets of eyes another day.

Stumbling around in spikey, prickly vegetation by torchlight - what could be more fun? Well finding the cache I guess. I found the first container after a bit of a hunt, and opened to reveal the interesting setuup. I oscillated the options until they greened, then set out to the final location. There I discovered even more spikey trees, less room to manoeuvre, large piles of brush to poke through, and a few birds who were annoyed at having their sleep disturbed. But no cache. So I returned to the first point and oscillated a second time to confirm that I had the right options. So all I have to show for my efforts is a tracklog that shows my oscillations around the final coordinates... A daylight visit might be more productive.
